Scoring 90+ In CBSE Class 11th Computer Science

HELLO GUYS,

Scoring 90+ marks in CBSE exams is not that tough. Especially scoring high marks in class 11th is way more easy than scoring in class 12th.

As always, for computer science, there is no need of hard work. Do some SMART WORK.

SMART WORK is valuable.


Lets come to the point and have a look at the syllabus for class 11th.

We have about 50% weightage for theory based questions and remaining 50% for programming questions.


Lets start with COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS.

This part is for 10 marks and checks your general computer knowledge that is mostly covered in your lower classes.

Important topics like "Number System, Evolution of computers, Types of OS, Types of softwares & Memory Concepts " should be given more time.

Practice a good number of problems on Number system.

These topics and simple to understand and remember. Hence you cannot loose marks from this unit.


Then we have PROGRAMMING METHODOLOGY.

Now, this chapter is the most boring chapter. But Boring can sometimes be fruitful.

The topics of this unit are much simple and general. So read this unit only one time and you will understand each line if you have good understanding.


Then we have INTRODUCTION TO C++  for 14 marks.

This unit covers all the basic theory knowledge required for understanding the C++ language.

It covers important topics like "C++ Tokens, Header files, Data Types, Variables & Operators" and you should give more time to this unit as these concepts are useful for class 12th.

Understand all operators given in the book and the concept of data types and variables.

This unit will demand more time. Hence, give it more time and don't leave any topic.


And the last one is PROGRAMMING IN C++.


This is the starting of your coding in class 11th. This is the most important topic in the syllabus and you have to practice as much questions as you can from this unit.

You should pratice programs in computers for understanding this unit.

This unit is for 34 marks and hence covers most of the syllabus.

Understand all the inbuild functions and user defined function concept.


Now, lets talk about the toughest part(according to students).


Arrays and Structures.

These topics comes for more marks hence looks difficult for most of the students.

But 1D arrays and Structures are simple . The 2D array topic increases the toughness.


IMPORTANT POINTS FOR SCORING MORE :


To score high marks, you have to practice 5-10 previous year question papers.

Most of the questions are repeated hence scoring is not that tough.

Practice every question from the papers and most importantly the output type questions.
